Do failed requests cost credits?

No. Requests are billed only when they succeed, and a request that errors costs nothing. SmartBrowse runs are billed per page actually extracted. Browse is the exception: it is metered by the minute while your client is connected.

Do unused credits roll over?

Plan credits reset at the start of each billing period, so they don't roll over. Credits from top-up packs don't expire, and they're spent only after your plan credits run out.

What happens when I run out of credits?

API calls return a 402 with the code insufficient_credits until you top up from the billing page or your plan renews. Free accounts get 300 new credits every month.

Can I change plans mid-month?

Yes, from the billing page. When you upgrade, you get the difference in credits straight away instead of waiting for your next renewal.

How is Browse billed?

0.2 credits per minute while your client is connected, with a one-minute minimum per session, plus 1,300 credits per GB of bandwidth beyond your plan's monthly allowance (2 GB on Hobby, 10 GB on Startup). Browse is included on paid plans.
